The "Marinai Motociclisti" association was founded on 9 February 2019 in Livorno, at the Naval Academy, on the initiative of a group of retired mariners, from an idea of the Chief of 1st Class, Romeo Palmerini. The aim of the initiative was to bring together in a single group Sailors, in service and not, members of other Armed Forces and of the Police and supporters of the Navy, united by the love for the sea and the passion for motorbikes and motorcycling.
Il 6 novembre 2024 è stato fondato il Motoclub Marinai Motociclisti a.r.c. (associazione ricreativa culturale) che eredita in toto il precedente sodalizio ma assume una veste ufficiale e formale, continuando a mantenere vivi i valori e gli ideali del precedente sodalizio.
The group uses the "Motorcyclist" logo as its badge, a category of the Navy no longer in use to which sailors authorized to drive a motorbike belonged. This symbol is now present on all items of clothing used by Members, as well as on the various gadgets (see the specific section of the site in this regard). The motto of the association is “Nihil Difficile Volenti” (nothing is difficult for those who want it).
The Marinai Motociclisti Motorcyclists association is not affiliated with any Motorcycle Federation, with any Motoclub, with any Arms Association, it is apolitical and non-denominational.
Since 27 August 2023 it has been twinned with the Alpini Motociclisti.

In addition to our motorcycles, you may recognize us by the High Visibility vest with logo. You can meet “Marinai Motociclisti” in much of Italy. You can also continue to browse this site and you will discover many things about us.
WHO WE ARE...
Passion and adrenaline
The Board of Directors wants all organized events to be pleasant both for the participants and for anyone who hosts them. The time we spend together, with the aim of pleasantly sharing daily events and longer-lasting activities, in the name of fun and motorcycling passion, must become a "unique" moment, to be remembered forever. For this reason all events are reserved exclusively for Motorcyclist Sailors.
To participate, therefore, you must be registered with the association, downloading the Membership Application from the appropriate section of the site and completing it in all its parts, following what is indicated in it.
Once a Member, anyone who wants to tell and share their life story with everyone must send their writing in Word format to the email address direttivo@marinaimotociclisti.it and it will be published in the "Members' Stories" section.
